Lol, you flip-flopper! In a review from Mr. Caboose for 2/28/69:

I agree that 2/28/69 is the best, meaning the most appealing version to me.

haha! the "greatest" is sometimes the one I'm listening to and/or my mood. I have a number of greatest Eye's and Dark stars. I emailed you so I'll delete my addy here

ahhh, you got me! That WAS before I was very familiar with this one though. I still love 2/28, but there are others I enjoy more now. Might have to go back and do some revising when I'm bored. I'm sure next year I'll be touting a different version as "the greatest", lol. I guess it's just another facet of the subjectivity of the listener, and how perceptions can change. Seriously though, 2/21/69 IS the greatest Eleven ever ;^) Just listen to Jerry's insane shredding around the 13:00 mark...I've never heard such intensity in any other version!!!!
